WHY kids yoga? Yoga is the #1 most recommended exercise for children and adults alike. Yoga helps kids integrate their development into their daily activities and choices, and helps with attention, athleticism, weight control, body awareness, concentration, general wellness and disease prevention over a lifetime. Kids learn to calm themselves, resist the problems associated with stress, and develop strong boundaries. Yoga can be done anywhere, any time, and teaches self-respect and peaceful relationships.
Frances Cutshaw, M.Div., CCYT. is certified by Yahweh Yoga, a Registered Yoga School, with Christian based teaching. Her background is also in pastoral ministry, music, and working with children and teens in support settings.
