Prayer is just another way of describing our ongoing relationship with God as it is expressed in communication - talking, listening, writing, singing, whispering the desires of our hearts and hearing those of the Lord. A life of faith without prayer is like a marriage with no communication of any kind. It is an impossibility. Without *some* kind of prayer there really is no active relationship with the Lord. The more realize that it is our lifeline to eternity, the more we place prayer at the center of our lives. God helps us with this.
